Curtis Boyd donates to Boys & Girls Clubs

Curtis Boyd, a local St. Lucie County attorney and his staff, recently toured the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County’s Garden Terrace Clubhouse.  They were given the tour by Hakeem, a club member who explained how everything works and the role mentors play in the organization.

After the tour, Boyd presented the organization a check in the amount of $1500 for their Annual Youth of the Year event in February.  “We were very impressed,” stated Boyd.  “Hakeem was a wonderful tour guide.  The dedication and work that is being done for the children in our community is incredible.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs has sixteen locations throughout the county and serve a diverse group of kids age 5-18.  The 3,000 members come from a variety of backgrounds.  Contact the Club by calling (772) 460-9918 or visit online at www.bgcofslc.org.

J. Curtis Boyd was raised in Fort Pierce, Florida. Earning his law credentials from the University of Florida, Curtis returned to his hometown and has been serving residents in the community for 20 years. Many of his friends are his clients, and many clients become his friends.
