My father built our family’s dream house on the North Fork of the St. Lucie River (White City) in 1972 and I grew up there; it passed to me in 2004. In September 2017 hurricane Irma all but destroyed the home. $200,000, minimum would be required to repair it. The insurance company offered $18,000. This paltry amount would result in the loss of the home as it would not be enough to make it livable. Fortunately I found Curtis Boyd –.the “Giant Slayer” I call him because he took on a Giant company’s International law firm and “slew them” — despite the Giant insurance company bringing in an army of attorneys and forcing us into Federal Court, thinking that would intimidate me and force me/us to quit; they were very wrong.
